A great adaptation of the Outlander series of books written by by Diana Gabaldon
Until very recently, I knew almost nothing about Outlander, other than it had been filmed in several locations near to where I live. I had actually seen some of the filming taking place in the mediaeval village of Culross. A friend enthused so much about the series that we visited many of the locations, where we met large numbers of other afficionados of the story. I immrdiately ordered DVDs of the entire collection so far. The story is thoroughly absorbing, the settings used in the filming and the acting are absolutely superb. The characters are brilliantly portrayed. This is the best video series I've ever seen. Get your cheese and corn here!
Well we all need cheese and corn in our lives, plenty here! Not too bad a start but as the seasons progress it gets more and more far fetched. So much that the time travel aspect is more believable than some of the rest. This is not for the faint hearted apart from all the blood and gore, there is at least one rape scene in most seasons and I am not talking just women but men and children too. I have no doubt that when this was shown on TV most episodes, especially of the later seasons, that there was a warning before the program was shown. Obviously you don't get that with dvds so be prepared if you are intending watching this till the end of all seasons. It is still compelling watching though and definitely good for a laugh especially season 4, you have plenty of opportunities to pick ... Well we all need cheese and corn in our lives, plenty here! Brilliant series . Ideal for fans with about 15 hours of extra material
I was addicted to Outlander after just 2 episodes on More 4 so I had to buy the Series 1 & 2 box set in order to get the full enjoyment quickly. I'm so glad I did it's brilliant. There's about 15 hours of extra material in the box set so lots of bit that were never televised. Brilliant concept and wonderfully acted so if you enjoy historical drama's with a twist then you'll love this series.

The discs are indeed new, which makes the buy good value for money. As they are covering the first two seasons of 'Outlander', there are many hours of entertainment. It fills me in on the start of the storyline, after I had watched a much later series on tv.

Impossible to activate
I have this product at home almost 2 weels but if I want to watch it I need to sign in and activate their code. It is not problem but their link doesn't work- imposible to sign in or acticate new code. When I emailed them, no answer. And the code is due in one month after it is not valid. Nice dvd but I can watch just cover for it.
